Salzburg Festival

The Salzburg Festival takes place from mid July to the end of August. The big names in the international cultural scene gather here in the city of Mozart.
, plays and concerts attract an international audience to Salzburg. At a variety of venues, the Felsenreitschule, cathedral square, Mozarteum, Landestheater (Salzburg State Theater), and the Pernerinsel, cultural enjoyment of the highest level is offered.

The Bachschmiede

The Bachschmiede – Culture, museum, art. “Die Bachschmiede” in Wals-Siezenheim is a cultural center with a wide-ranging program, home to a culture hall as well as a museum. “Die Bachschmiede”, as a regional museum, sees itself as a place that is open to an ongoing communication process within the population, a “place of encounter and active reexamination”. You will find even a brief visit of interest, sure to add to the enjoyment and quality of your stay.

Mozart Week

Mozart Week takes place in Salzburg around the time of Mozart's birthday on January 27. With top class events over 10 days, this event has found an enthusiastic audience. Tickets are available at Mozart's residence by telephone at +43 664 5264668. The majority of events takes place in the Mozarteum Salzburg.


Even when it's not festival season, Salzburg is a venue for numerous classic concerts.

With the Salzburg Arena, there is an events center where each year, world-famous artists perform concerts and other events.
